MPB is licensed under the International Banks Act, Chapter 99 of the Revised Laws of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, 2009 (section 4(4)), to engage in International Banking Business under Class B (International Bank number 52 BK 2017).

MPB is supervised by the Financial Services Authority of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
